Join us on an amazing diving adventure to the beautiful dive sites of the Porto Mari plantation on Curaçao where the sand is white, the reefs are colorful and the sun is shining. This trip is specially designed to fit the needs of people visiting Curaçao by cruise ship but is also very suitable for ‘regular’ tourists. Whether it’s your first time scuba diving or if you’re an advanced diver, this trip is for everyone!
We combine sightseeing and diving. We pick you up from the cruise ship facility or your hotel or apartment (if within reasonable distance from our shop) and head down to the western side of the island. An interesting 45 minute drive takes us to this gorgeous part of the island with a stop at the flamingo sanctuary.
For the first timers (intro dive) we will start with an extensive 45 minute briefing where we’ll tell you everything you need to know for a first time dive under supervision. After gearing up and entering the water there is some time to practice in the shallow. And when everybody is ready, we make our first dive to a maximum depth of 12m/40ft.
If you are a certified diver, in Porto Mari we have 2 really nice dive sites. Here the visibility is usually really nice and there are no currents at all.
At Porto Mari we regularly spot parrotfish, green moray eels and even seahorses and frogfish. Expect dense reefs, loads of life and a bounty beach providing easy access to the water and facilities for non-divers and divers alike.
