To scuba dive with confidence at depths down to 40 meters (130 feet), you should take the PADI Deep Diver Specialty course. With expert guidance from your dive instructor, you will learn how to plan, organize and descent below 18 meters (60 feet) and up to 40 meters (130 feet) to explore the exceptional deep waters of our island.
If you’ve earned the PADI Adventure Diver rating or higher, and you’re at least 15 years old, you can enroll in the Deep Diver course.
Car Pile is known for its car wrecks. The cars were dumped here in the sixties and can be found to a depth of 12 mts. till 50 meters. There are complete car wrecks, but also all kinds of car parts such as doors and tires. Around 20 meters you will also find construction waste.
It is a perfect dive for Advanced divers or people who want to learn how to do a deep dive.
Superior Producer is rated as one of the best wreck dives in the Caribbean, located between Double Reef and the entrance to St. Annabaai, this cargo ship sits upright on a sandy bottom at 30 m / 100 ft. The ship sank in 1977 and is covered with coral and sponges and has an openly accessible cargo bay.
The Superior Producer is Curaçao’s iconic shipwreck and it is one of the most popular dive sites in Curaçao.
Turtle Rock is an amazing shore dive. You will get to see turtles everywhere but of course…just looking, never disturb their peaceful nap.
It is a perfect spot to practice some navigation skills because to get to turtle rock you will need to follow the reef.
Diver Tip: Always take your dive buoy! It is a popular route for boats and jet skis.
